About Me

I'm Heidi Dischler...

I’m from Louisiana (think: no accent, but still an extremely Cajun, tomboy girl). I have my bachelor’s in English Creative Writing, and I’m currently in the process of obtaining my master’s in English Writing and Linguistics. I’m a goofball wife, an annoying sister, a will-always-have-your-back friend, semi-decent (I think) daughter, and a freaking amazing dog-mom.

My passion has always been reading and writing. Books give me hope—they let me travel the world—but the best part, they teach me empathy. It’s one of the characteristics that I wish I saw more in the world. For now, though, I’m content at trying to give people all of these things through my own novels while learning from others’ stories. One day, I’ll see my books on the shelves at Barnes and Noble and someone will tell me that my words changed their life. Until then, I’ll keep reading, writing, and most of all, dreaming.

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."
