So, here I am in ACOTAR withdrawals wondering what I should post about next. What better way to continue reminiscing the entire series than ranking and reviewing the ACOTAR series?? You’ll get to see my thoughts on each book below and how I rank them amongst themselves.
Just a heads up, since I’m ranking and reviewing these books, there will be MAJOR spoilers ahead! DO NOT GO ANY FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN’T READ THE SERIES.

#5 - A Court of Frost and Starlight
Like I said in my review for this book, there’s a reason this one is rated the lowest of the series. It’s honestly just a Christmas-esque shopping novel with a little bit of info sprinkled here and there. Definitely not my favorite.
I’m going to be honest. I reread my review of this book and wow, poor pre-ACOTAR Heidi was so naive. I thought this book was going to be the best thing I ever read. WRONG. The series legitimately just gets better and that is so rare for a book series. I absolutely adored A Court of Thorns and Roses, but I fell so much harder for the books coming up.
This novel had me sweating. I was so invested and honestly so much happened that it took me a few days to even process it all before I could write a review. You get allllll of the Feyre and Rhys scenes and a ton of action in the second half of the book. However, the ending did kind of make me disappointed because it was a little too convenient, but I’m willing to let that slide enough to put A Court of Wings and Ruin at #3 in my ranking. You can check out my full review here.
This book right here. Guys. When I tell you I hated Nesta, I truly hated Nesta. This book completely changes your mind about her. Not only that, but you get the best friendship trio, a new romance (Cassian is so adorable in a completely different way from Rhys), anddd the action that unfolds in like the last hundred pages of the book? Totally worth everything the entire series has put us through. My full review is here if you want to read it, but trust me, you want to read it.
The DRAMA!!!! I do not think I will find another book like this that completely flipped sides on me and made me love the person I thought I’d hate. This is Harry Potter, Snape’s “Always” level shit right here. Except… this might seem blasphemous… but it’s almost better??? Rhys and Feyre forever. I can’t say I’ve ever been this impressed by the second book in a series before in my life. It was just that good and probably will always remain number one unless Sarah J. Maas gives us the best book of our lives with the (hopefully) next installment in this series 👀.
